- September 24, 2026: Absent voter ballots available for voters.
- October 19, 2026: Last day to register to vote by mail or online.
- October 20 through November 3, 2026: New voter registrations for the November election are required in person.
- October 24 through November 1, 2026: Constitutionally mandated early voting period.
- November 3, 2026: Upcoming election. The registration page says voters in line by 8 p.m. on Election Day have the right to register in person at their local clerk's office.
The registration page also says that if there are 15 or more days before an election, voters can register online, by mail, or in person. Within 14 days of an election, and on Election Day, voters may only register by visiting their local clerk's office, or a satellite office, in person with proof of residency.

- October 5, 2026, 5:00 p.m.: Close of regular voter registration for the general election. The calendar marks that time as GMT-06:00 and cites 13-2-301, 30 days before an election.
- October 6, 2026, 8:00 a.m.: Late registration begins. The calendar marks that time as GMT-06:00.
- October 9, 2026, 8:00 a.m.: General election absentee ballots sent. The calendar marks that time as GMT-06:00.
